Young adults with sickle cell disease navigate through a number of challenges from managing their health and social wellbeing to dealing with health-related stigmatization and the burdens the disease imposes on the individual financially, physically and psychologically.
Young adults living with sickle cell disease will take center stage during this dedicated session to discuss the challenges they face and how they overcome these challenges while living well with SCD.
