The Opening Ceremony at the ACSCD 2019 is the ceremonial kick-off to a three-day round of discussions, insightful presentations and networking with the sickle cell experts, government representatives and industry professionals from around Africa and the world.

Admission ONLY with congress pass. Open to all pass types.

Operational from THURSDAY October 31 to SATURDAY November 2, as per the Exhibit Hall official opening hours

A dedicated networking area exclusively accessible by all advocates and patients attending the ACSCD 2019. Located within the exhibits area, at the Patient Advocacy Lounge, you can just relax or meet with other advocates. Refreshments will be served throughout the day and a variety of seating and charging stations will be available.
