Dear Colleagues and Friends, Sponsors and Exhibitors,
It is our great pleasure and honor to extend to you a warm invitation to attend and participate in the 1st African Congress on Sickle Cell Disease(ACSCD 2019) to be held from October 31 — November 02, 2019 in the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria.
The African Congress on Sickle Cell Disease is set to become the premier platform not only for the presentation of new science and deliberation on sickle cell, but also for unique networking opportunities. With delegates expected from across Africa and the world, this Conference will provide the ideal forum to discuss the current challenges of sickle cell disease especially in under-served communities and foster collaboration and collective discovery of innovative & sustainable solutions for sickle cell management and control.
We encourage government representatives, industry leaders, sickle cell experts, physicians, nurses, other clinicians, researchers and scientists as well as patients, caregivers, advocates and those interested in any aspect of sickle cell disease to attend this Conference.
The Conference program will be both technical and political, featuring exciting and ground-breaking sessions in its wide-ranging and multidisciplinary content. In addition to traditional abstract presentations and lectures by world renowned invited speakers, we will be offering workshops, interactive sessions, focus hubs as well as several sessions specifically dedicated to nurses, patients and advocates.
The cross-disciplinary character of the Conference should fit naturally in the historical city that is Lagos. The city boasts a unique blend of culture and distinctive mix of ancient and modern architecture. The Landmark Center will play host to the Conference, providing a surreal experience as it is located in one of the most modern African cities.
We look forward to welcoming you to an inspiring, educational, and enjoyable program in the vibrant city of Lagos.
Sincerely,
