ACSCD provides excellent networking opportunities. How will that work in a virtual format?
Attendees will continue to create powerful connections in a virtual format. Here are some of the networking opportunities we will offer.
- Find your friends, colleagues and new connections in a searchable attendee list with comprehensive filters
- Text chat or utilize secure proprietary video chat, initiate one-on-one meetings with any participant
- Pre-book meetings or initiate instant calls
- Interactions can be initiated from anywhere on the platform in real time
- Option to link to your personal video conferencing software, if preferred (e.g. Zoom)
- Everyone can network: Attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors (unlike other virtual events you may have attended)
- Explore the virtual exhibit hub to talk to exhibitors via text or video chat
- Pop into presentations sessions and ask questions by typing them in the text chat or Q&A fields
- Utilize the matchmaking functionality to connect with participants and exhibitors who align with your interests and needs
- Attend virtual networking events and entertainment
Networking lounges
- Engage in themed networking lounges and start a discussion with your peers and colleagues, ask questions and share your professional opinion or advice
- Text chat lounges will be available 24 hours per day, May 25-29
- They will be themed and feature discussions related to our major program streams
- Enabling attendees to connect with others and continue the conversations they started elsewhere or were sparked in a session
- There will be various threads/discussions within each lounge, content will not be purged and will be available for 3 months
- Video chat lounges will also be available at specific times each day for themed group discussions
Will the congress include matchmaking? How will that work?
After answering a series of questions upon first login to the platform, the sophisticated matchmaking algorithm will suggest:
- Connecting with other like-minded attendees
- Sessions that align with your interests
Are there prizes for networking?
